General Conditions

General
All services and offers from Sirdal HolidayHomes AS operate exclusively on the basis of these terms. Other conditions only apply if they have been accepted by Sirdal Holidayhomes AS in writing. This also applies to the case that the customer confirms an offer from Sirdal Holidayhomes AS with reference to its own business or purchasing conditions.
Sirdal Holidayhomes AS does not rent to people under the age of 25, with the exception of families with children and only to the number of people described with each cabin. Our cabins are not suitable for celebrations that exceed a normal understanding of celebration.

When the tenant has booked a holiday stay through us, you will receive an order confirmation/invoice upon
booking. The invoice acts as a rental certificate, and contains all the information you need,
and should be shown to a person from Sirdal Holidayhomes on arrival.

The tenant should be the same person as on the booking confirmation/invoice.
Violation of this will result in cancellation of the order without reimbursement of costs.
Unless otherwise agreed, check-in is from 16.00, and check out no later than 12.00. If the tenant wants
other times, these must be clarified at least 24 hours in advance. The key is delivered to a person from Sirdal
Holidayhomes AS, or possibly as agreed upon check-in.

Cancellation
A cancellation fee of NOK 500 will be charged for cancellation. If canceled later than 1 month
from the first rental day, 50% of the rental amount is paid, and 100% if canceled later than 14 days before the
first rental day. This also applies to orders at short notice.
The tenant undertakes to inform Sirdal Holidayhomes AS immediately of any damage or
defects found in the cabin upon arrival. If the tenant himself is unlucky and damages the cabin or
contents, he himself is responsible for compensating for the damage.
It is not allowed to bring pets into the cabin or apartment.
Smoking is not allowed in the cabin or apartment.

Responsibility
Windows and doors should be locked every time the cabin is left, and must be locked on departure.
The tenant must leave the cabin cleaned and in good condition. Washing can either be ordered from us (some washing we pass on to the company Rent Hjem), or
the tenant can carry out the washing themselves. In the latter case, the washing procedure found in each of our cabins is followed.

Sirdal Holidayhomes AS must send the invoice if washing is not carried out properly.

Should a cabin be seriously damaged, so that you cannot move in, or is not available for
another reason and cannot offer an alternative cabin, SHH will refund the entire rent.
Sirdal Holidayhomes AS checks that the cabin is in good condition and puts the heat on in the winter before your
arrival. Sirdal Holidayhomes AS ensures that there are rags and detergent in the cabin.

Disputes
The dispute between the customer and Sirdal Holidayhomes AS shall, at the option of Sirdal Holidayhomes AS, be settled by a court or the probate court in accordance with Norwegian law.

Severability Clause
If one or more clauses in this Agreement become illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction at the present time or become so at a later time, this will not affect the legality of the other provisions. In such cases, the ineffective clause is filled in by the parties so that it is as similar to the ineffective provision as possible.
 

All the cabins and apartments have water and electricity. The following equipment is standard in all the cabins:
• Stove
• any additional equipment is in the description with each cabin
• TV
• Rags and detergent for washing the cabin
• Duvets and pillows for the specified beds
• Kitchen equipment
• Dishwasher
• Refrigerator, freezer, or freezer compartment in the refrigerator

Other:
• Pets are not allowed in most of the cabins. If you would like to bring
a dog with you, feel free to send us a request. Then we will help you find someone for you!
• Smoking is not allowed in the cabins.

• Bed linen
• Kitchen towels/kitchen rags
• Washing -up liquid
• Towels
• Candles

Other services:
• Final cleaning (Prices vary from cabin to cabin. You can find the price in each cabin.)
• Firewood: NOK 120 per bag / In most cabins
• Bed linen/towels NOK 200 per set / In most cabins
• Baby bed/chair NOK 200 / In most cabins

• Friday/Sunday
• Weekly basis is from: Friday - Friday or Sunday - Sunday.
• Weekend is from: Friday - Sunday
• Long weekend: Thursday - Sunday
• Midweek: Monday - Thursday
• Check-in from 3 p.m.
